This lovely, handmade floral centerpiece bowl / tray was created at Chelsea Pottery in Radnor Walk, England (1952-1997). The studio was designed as an open space for artisans/potters to create and learn under the direction of its owners. Recognized for its highly decorated earthenware, and for its use of the technique referred to as “inlay and overlay,” Chelsea Pottery was popular among many English celebrities, including the Beatles.
This piece is signed RC and depicts an earthy tone of brown, green and yellow, floral design. The lighter drippy glaze at the top of the piece is intentional. High quality, substantial art piece. Pre-drilled holes for hanging if desired
