I made this amazing pendant by hand forging a copper bezel and setting a piece of artisan made dichroic glass in it. The glass is unbelievably gorgeous! Better in person!!! I patterned the background in my rolling mill. I soldered the jump ring closed to help keep it from falling off a chain. Size in photos.
I have polished and sealed all the copper twice to prevent tarnishing.
***If you keep this pendant dry and do not get perfumes or harsh chemicals on it, it will last for years and years! Copper is known for oxidizing quickly, but none of my personal pieces have oxidized because I keep them dry and do not get perfumes/lotions on them and when I’m done wearing them for the day I put them in an airtight ziploc baggie. Make sure they are completely dry before storing in a baggie! So take these steps to keep the pendant looking great;)***
