This Yamaha needs 6 pads replaced on this flute to make it a really beautiful instrument.
Cosmetically in good condition. No major dents, no major scratches. It’s clean inside and out. It seems like it was well taken care of before the damage happened. The damage to the pads almost looks intentional. (p.s. I forgot to mention that I’ll take returns- just please don’t gouge the pads out of a flute you buy from me, please- haha!)
Some oxidation around mechanism; I’ve not tried to clean or fiddle with this flute. To me, the springs & keys function seems fine. The keys aren’t sticky and all seem to be in adjustment. It’s the pads that are the issue.
Please see photo where I circled in red, the pads that have damage. Head-joint in good condition & marked “silver.”
I think this flute has a lot of potential. The case is in good shape. The other pads seem okay for now- they aren’t flaking or falling apart. I’m happy to post more pics in a separate listing if you have questions. Thanks!
