Beautiful antique Art Nouveau/Victorian beaded kilt purse. Circa 1800s/early 1900s. I believe it was originally a Chatelaine bag and is missing the belt clip on the top.
This round handbag is adorned with cut steel micro beads on both sides. The frame features an ornate repousse design with a cherub, flowers, and butterflies. The monogram "LB" is engraved in the center.
Measures approx. 9" (including chain) x 4.5"
Condition: There is significant tarnishing on some of the beads. There are rips in the material near the hinges on the sides. The lining has been removed. Please see all photos.
