Soft bodied, popcorn hair, large thumb cabbage patch kids are one of the most sought after and command higer prices.
Dolls produced by Appalachian Artworks and later Caleco during the 1980s are highly sought after and were never replicated by the following manufacturers which were Hasbro, Mattel and Toys R Us.
This baby was manufactured by the original Appalachian Artworks company in Georgia, USA.

Blonde curly hair, 2 pink bows, blue eyes and a dimple.
No adoption papers or birth certificate however I do have the receipt of the date and place of purchase of this doll.
I do have a redhead boy Cabbage Patch kid with adoption papers, and birth certificate in another listing.
Disclosure: Has tiny marks on right arm as shown in the last picture. Not too noticeable at all.
