For your consideration is this vintage Arnart Japan porcelain figurine featuring a boy and girl holding an umbrella and sitting on a wooden fence. The hand-painted ceramic figurine measures 6.3 inches in height, 4.1 inches in length, and 3 inches in width. It has a felted bottom and was advertised as "Rainy Day" from the Alpine Children collection, and often imported under different brands.
The figurine is a mid-20th century original made to resemble the popular Hummel figurines popular during that time. I've attached the earliest advertisement for "Rainy Days" figurines I was able to locate on Newspapers' online document repository dated to 1969. It weighs 12.2 ounces and is in excellent condition. The bottom reads "ARNART 5TH AVE / HAND PAINTED / 2578".
