Set of 4 Vintage Federal Normandie Marigold Carnival Glass Divided Dinner Plate or called Grill Plate- 11". Gorgeous!
The Federal Glass Company produced this piece of Carnival glass in 1930s. This piece between 1933-39.
This specific glass pattern is characterized by floral & scroll motifs, is known as the Normandie pattern.
Normandie glass is notable for being the only iridescent Depression Glass pattern from that era, achieved by spraying an iridescent amber finish (known as "Sunburst") onto patterned crystal ware. It creates a rainbow-like sheen when light reflects off its surface, a hallmark of carnival glass.
Stunning iridescent amber gold color has hues of pink, purple, green and blue.
