Antique RARE HUBLEY CAST IRON FIDO DOG ON PILLOW BANK DOOR STOP-EARLY 1920s.

Vintage Antique Hubley Cast Iron Boston Terrier Fido on Pillow Doorstoop Bank. Authentic Hubley Cast Iron Bank in the shape of the famous "Fido", sitting on his pillow which was often lost over the years. Attaches at the base with a screw, and you will often see the these banks without their pillows, as they sold them both ways, and sometimes people who got them with the pillows decided they did not want the pillow attachment.. They are so heavy they were often used as doorstops or bookends as well. This is all original paint, wonderful modeling and painting of the flowers on the pillow, and the studded collar with the word Fido on it.
