Werner Wildner (1925-2004) is a German born surrealist artist & painter, working in graphite, watercolor, and gouache. Whimsical animals, gnomes, and fantastical, often grotesque creatures were a recurring theme of his work. His work is highly sought after featured in Smithsonian American Art Museum, other museums and universities across the world.
