Re: Valencia testing/F1 testing on TV
http://www.f1today.nl/fotos/t7o95w3p5.jpg Why does the Ferrari have a coat hanger stuck on top of it? Looks like a couple of pitot tubes on top of that giant hanger. They're trying to measure the airflow up there. My guess is to see how far vertically air is disturbed by the front of a F1 car. Sinc...

Say Button leads the title race half way during the season like 2009 from Hamilton where button had 65 points to Hamilton 9 points. Re: Is it time for the return of Turbo in f1?
It would be nice. Cars would be more temperamental and, with smaller engines, fuel consumption and contamination would go down as a side effect But, as TeamTipper said, there's too much paranoia with security, and they'd immediately associate turbos with danger. Although today F1 is a very safe spo...

Reports are now circulating through the Motorsports Press in Europe that Campos may be Forced to withdraw their Entry if it cannot guarantee a full budget for the 2010 season......... Interesting - I know that Petrov had been hunting around for a seat in F1 (given that he'd been linked with Campos for a while), and with the financial backing he brings, he would have been quite a catch for several teams. Just a quick question, were cars this long back when refueling was forbidden in '93? Sure the engines wouldnt have been nearly as thirsty as they are now, but too long a wheelbase might be undesirable. As for the Williams car, they said that they were starting from scratch for the FW-32, instead of using the FW-31, and the changes are much clearer. Go back to the beginning of the decade, and most of the dry compounds would spend their time sitting in the garage, never seeing the track - which is an utter waste of money and space.
