Re: Team Orders-gate: no punishment

Who you calling old git? Mate, i was at Mansells first test run in a Lotus. I am old for this forum "Mate" I remember Peter Collins. I thought everyone on this forum knew how old I am........ ..hence the Old Git reference Perhaps it should have been Senior Old Git to my mere Old Git!

Re: Team Orders-gate: no punishment

Say whatever you want, I'm happy that this was the outcome. I feared it wouldn't be, because I said I would stop watching F1 if they were disqualified for this. I'll let the rant for those of you that -IMVHO- don't understand what Formula One is and has always been about. I've got me helmet on and ...

Re: Prodrive rules out F1 in 2011

Because Dave Richards at least knows how to get sponsors and run a team. Yes, because banking your team's entire future in the sport on a set of controversail regulations without having a back-up plan in case things go badly is an effective way of running a team. Richards claimed he had a sponsor l...

If any use: I have my MSA International B race licence (expired 2006), have actually driven a race car in formula ford (twice) and stock hatches (once) but not since 2004 though. I have also completed the Willhire 24 hour race and not died while running an Alfa 75 around Spa while people overtook me...

Well. Everything seems over then. Anyway, I would just wait to hear last addressing words from Windsor. But the truth is evident to all of us at this rate. If the boss is unavailable, no matter if sources says they are running, crawling or just dead, the reality is they are dead. Such a pity that, ...

Re: Roll Up Roll Up! New Rejectful Series Ahoy!

I'm a bit confused, is this the renaming of Euro 3000? or is it another series? Yes it is, using modified A1 GP Lolas. From what I can tell, the only reason people are considering Auto GP to be a reject series is because they are using recycled chassis and replacing a series that few people have ev...

Re: Television's Worst

True, but, c'mon! Is the anthem necessary? I find that a bit excessive, tbh. And I'm a Colombian, no need to fuss. My mate Riccardo is also from Colombia and even he reckoned this was a bit much but liked the anthem. But he is from Medellin and wears sunglasses all the time so i tend not to argue w...

Re: USF1 seeks permission to miss first 4 races

Merger may be an answer but surely we all miss the obvious? Remember AGS? Osella/Fondmetal? Coloni? Grouillard, Tarquinin and Larini? They all had a single car entry at some point. Why not let USF1 and Stefan enter one car each for the season? Halves their variable costs (although not the fixed ones...

Re: Your favourite reject team of all time?

I am shocked and saddened that neither 1. EuroBrun with their ever changing colour scheme and Oscar Larrauri are mentioned. Shame! I fear f...

It is a bit Midland MF1, but I think it looks so gorgeous partly because we were all expecting the Virgin to be yet another boring red and white car. Fingers crossed we get a green Lotus. Screw Green. if they roll out a Black car with golden accents... I'll honestly say screw Virgin! Not for the fi...

I think it's time for someone to bump up the circuit design thread with a design for Koror, Palau. Good idea, interestingly they have a gym, elementary school and prison all in a 400m2 block in the centre of town. I suggest a pit complex of magnificant proportions - leisure facilities for drivers, ...

For me the A1GP link makes this a cast-iron Reject Team, whether they make the grid or not. Only having a second spanish driver of the quality of Alex Soler-Roig (showing my age now..) would better it.
