RIP J-P B. One of the first races I ever saw "live" (F2) had him, Servoz-Gavin & Ickx in Matras, giving some big names something to think about. I always think of them together and now only Jacky is left. (Ickx won and his successful career began then really).

In addition to Luca de M leaving I have seen reported that the Finance Director at Santander has passed away; apparently very pro F1, Ferrari & Alonso so there may yet be further upheaval at Ferrari.

There are reports on Twitter from Alan Baldwin (Reuters) & re-tweeted by Maurice Hamilton that Michael is now able to go home where his rehabilitation will continue. Original tweet quotes Sabine Kehm as saying still a very long way to go.

For anyone old enough to remember when rallying was something other than short blasts on special stages, the first WRC (1979), who also competed in the 1960s & right up till 1990, Bjorn Waldegard has passed away at age just 70. He had been suffering from cancer.
