Re: A 12th team for 2015/16

All this being said, is there enough time to put a team together, develop a car, get an engine and be ready for 2015? It's less than a year, somehow I can't see it happening.

Re: A 12th team for 2015/16

So Haas gets an entry. But they will have to go find an engine. And then build a car around it. Around an engine they still don't have. Do they have the money or do they have to go get the sponsors? Let's face it, they will be another USF1. I just can't see how they'll be in a position to even get o...

Anyone else think that the race direction has sucked so far. I still have no idea what happened to Pastor, either at the start or when he retired, or how Hulk got past Kimi. Besides that, what a frustrating race! Both Saubers' races ruined at the first corner, Pastor out already and Kimi looks like...

Re: F1 To Be Split Between BBC 1 and Sky Sports from 2012

I won't be paying Sky to watch it, final. I rather look for a stream/free to air foreign channel first. I'm sure someone will post the full race soon after it finished, can always treat it as an "iplayer" like when I can't watch a race live (and keep car radio off!). I'm sure I'm not the o...

My initial reaction to the Coulthard news was negative, while I am glad to see Legard go, I felt there were better candidates, as I mentioned in my previous post. Re: BBC commentary team?

I''m quite happy about it. We don't need someone talking fast rubbish to make it exciting. Brundle was fairly quiet at first and I think he does a very good job nowadays. I don't think we need someone to take the role of the over-excited commentator. After so many years of Murray Walker I think we a...

Re: 2011 Silly Season

Lotus Renault Drivers: Robert Kubica, Nico Hulkenberg I don't think the team would replace Petrov with Hulkenberg - they have shown similar promise, but Petrov has sponsors. Then again, that is probably countered by the amount of times he throws it into the scenery. On the positive side, it means t...

Leggard was on form in the last race. My favourite moments: About the Force India going on the inside of Kubica (When Kubica was overtaking around the outside) Lotus loosing his "front wing", when his back wing was dragging on the floor! And when Brundle corrected him, he replied "Fro...

As for Chandhok, I really hope that he does make it back onto the grid next year, since, from what little we've seen of him on track, he has performed solidly enough. On top of that, compared to some drivers at the front, his character is a real breath of fresh air because he realises how lucky he ...

There is also the issue that smaller teams could them "help" some teams, ie you can see a Toro Rosso moving out for a Red Bull and then blocking the Ferraris or Lotus making life easier for the Renault team.
