Re: 2023 British GP IIDOTR

McLaren: Where do you want to start? 2-3 in Qualifying, should have been 2-3 in the race. The clear second quickest car all weekend. Their first podium since Imola last year, Piastri unrejectified and the team scoring more points in one race than the first 9 put together. Williams: Albon on his own...

Despite being one of GPR's most notable Williams fans, i'm going to be unbiased here. 1. Alpine - A great team effort. Can't give it to just Ocon because of Alonso, and vice versa. 2. Williams - Been waiting to see them back in the points for a long time. Means so much to Russell after coming so clo...

Re: Murray Walker (1923 - 2021)

This one hurts. Never have I heard a commentator for any sport display such passion and enthusiasm for his job. His voice captivated a young FMJ who would have been sat around his grandparents' house on a Sunday afternoon in the late 1990s; and made the racing all that more exciting. This day I felt...

Of course that leaves a place to be filled at Benetton and I see Nicola Larini going there. That leaves out a place at Lambo but team wasn't good enough so it doesn't matter too much. You do remember what forum you're on right? The team not being good enough is precisely why it matters. Mauro Baldi...

Kyalami to come back in 2023?

I know we have a saying on this forum of Autosport or it didn't happen. But a few sources are suggesting that the South African Grand Prix will be returning to the calendar in 2023, once again at Kyalami. I'm in favour of this. I think to be a World Championship, we do need at least one Grand Prix i...

As for Racing Point or whatever they're called at the moment, same old same old, but with less blue. I felt the blue on pink 2019 livery worked a lot better than it should have.

What happens if the fastest lap in the race is set by two drivers with identical times? Assuming both finish in the top 10.

Would it be like qualifying where the driver who sets the time first gets the higher grid slot? Or would they both be given a point? Or half a point each?
