It's an interesting exercise, but I reckon the most marketable driver in the world remains Ayrton Senna. I don't want to be polemic, but every single year the press rolls out the "remember Ayrton" bandwagon, and away we go for 3 weeks. It's like he's the James Dean of motorsports.

I think the idea is to smooth fuel flow, therefore limiting maximum available horsepower. If you use more than the average horsepower, it means that at peak your engine is over-using fuel. I find Raikkonen hugely overrated. Sure, he was fast while at McLaren, but never so fast that he could consistently beat Schumacher, reliability issues or not.
