Re: Jean Todt on Team Orders

Vitaly Petrov has suggested a typically Russian solution to this issue, in an interview after Abu Dabi:- Q. Sebastian Vettel gave a big thanks to you to keep Fernando Alonso behind. Did you rather a Red Bull won than a Ferrari? VP: I just want to be champion myself. I don't think he needs to say tha...

..........just goes to prove that the Manufacturer Era had the right idea, but not the right timescales or enough patience to see the project through. If Honda did a huge DOH! when Brawn won last year; then Jag fans like me smile at the thought of our team being sold off cheaply by Ford and seeing ...

Re: "Vitaly, Alonso is faster than you;.... "

All I'm saying is that I get cross when someone is slow at traffic lights in front of me. I can't imagine how Alonso felt. Yes it was a bit spoiled brattish and unsporting, but maybe understandable. I'm not sure about the comparison with Schumi. Schumi never seemed to get Latin red mist, it was just...

Re: "Vitaly, Alonso is faster than you;.... "

To be fair, Alonso was a bit upset. If I'd been cruising around comfortably set up for my third WDC, and my team had decided to pit me so I was in the traffic, I'd be peeved. Then even more peeved when I realised it was impossible to pass on the track. And then staring at the back of Petrov's Renaul...

Re: "Vitaly, Alonso is faster than you;.... "

Unsurprisingly graceless. Alonso's sense of entitlement could fill that f-ing Ferrari theme park all on its own. Which indeed might be why Ferrari lost. Did you notice that at the beginning of the race Fernando's car was buried on the grid under two hundred reporters, the King of Spain, fifty hange...

Eddie Jordan has to get an honorable mention for the BBC Abu Dabi coverage. His idea of interviewing is to gabble on at high speed whilst the bemused interviewee can't get a word in edgeways. Best illustrated by his interview with [b]Mattersich[b] after the race, where Dieter managed about three wo...

Re: Your Reject of the Race - Abu Dhabi!

Ferrari, for throwing the race away with an idiot strategy, as has already been said. Having dropped Massa into an impossible position in the pack, they then proceeded to do the same with Alonso. Webber, for giving up and not having a go at Alonso. There were at least two occasions where Alonso sli...

All of those, including me, who thought McClaren would implode with Jenson and Lewis this year. Mind you, if they had built a faster car we might have seen some more tension.

Vettel's pointy finger thing.

Michael Schumacher, for not justifying the hype, and for frequent dangerous driving.
