Re: The Alex Yoong 2013 Malaysian GP Thread
Pironi-Villeneuve, Imola 1982. That's all I have to say. I was there and attended a Ferrari dinner on the Sunday night, which the drivers didn't turn up to. I thought of that as well. We have to hope that its not going to be a repeat of that history. Maybe, Prost-Senna or Jones-Reutmann instead. Bu...

It has to be Alonso.Massive mistake by him or the team, it was obvious that the wing was going to come off. What were they thinking? And totally out of character for Alonso. Thats how championships are lost. Oh and Maldonado, who is obviously on a mission to visit every gravel trap at every circuit.

Perhaps you should investigate how many times Mark's car has developed a mysterious glitch when it looked he might have half a chance of beating Seb into the first corner.

1. Pastor Maldonado - After praising the car in pre-season testing as a big step forward , got beaten by his rookie team-mate in qualifying and although wasn't having a bad race he did became the only one to retire due to driving error. Finally and most importantly, in the end of the race he says t...

Haven't they rather dropped Paddy Lowe in the s**t over the last few days. They've obviously had some firm dialogue with him about a senior position at Mercedes. But it now looks like Ross is set to stay in place and that Paddy is being considered as a long term sucession alternative. I imagine Ron ...

It wasn't that Perez did not have the experience for Ferrari. He was too quick for Ferrari, or to be more specific, Alonso. The last thing Ferrrari needed was new Alonso/Hamilton experience to destabilise the best driver in the world at the moment. In contrast Jenson has a bit more maturity to handl...

The sack of Buemi and Alguersuari is definitely a surprise, given their consistency and generally solid performances. I think it's much simpler than that - if Williams offered Hulkenberg a seat, he would probably turn it down because they're not very competitive.
