We get along fine on the internet, but really, it'd be strange in real life, considering all the different backgrounds, nationalities and ages we have here. I've done other gatherings befo...

F1Rejects Gathering?
Hi all, My exciting work schedule next year will have me spending quite a bit of time in China. This makes me pretty well placed to possibly hop over to Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix. I'm considering the option and am wondering if anyone else is interested as well. We can possibly have an ...

I wouldn't mind seeing Schumi win an 8th and retire. If he does it and gives Luca the one finger salute at the same time he'll be legendary.

Please, someone prevents Captain_Hammer from commiting sepuku!!! I wouldn't worry about that yet - the Hammer's quite skeptical of rumours, if there are no team announcements to back them up. Being the original home of Kamui-Watch, I think I'm one of the biggest fans of Kobayashi on this board. Can I be the one to point out that under Max's watch the manufacturers took F-1 by assault driving away and killing many traditional teams? The way I understood it, all the teams wanted cost-cutting too, they just disagreed with Max's methods and inflexibility. And they disagreed with each other. Re: Toyota withdraws from F1
Honestly, there's more passing at lower levels because the drivers aren't as good and so are more likely to make mistakes, which results in openings for passing moves. Formula One drivers tend to be much higher quality and less prone to mistakes and so "generate" less passing chances.

I'm not sure where you're getting this anti-Kobayashi thing from. His move on Jenson was very clean - he made the move after Jenson ran wide and there was metres between the two cars. It's brilliant to see drivers who aren't afraid to make gutsy moves and punish the mistakes made by others. I'm not...
