I can't help laugh about the jokes made about this. One of the get away cars was a merc, merc team had a function happening nearby too. Rosberg? Anyone else watching the doc Spanish TV made with Alonso for this race? It's not just filming him, he's narrating it and telling everyone his thoughts on leaving ferrari in his own words. Great seeing more of the background stuff. Someone did pt 1 with english subtitles and uploaded it (600MB), no i...

Re: Mattiacci walks already...

Mattiacci was most likely brought in to clear the deadwood, make the harsh and unpopular decisions and then be moved on again for Marchionne's own man. Put it this way, Arrivabene has more F1 credentials on his CV. Mattiacci was the CEO of the North American operations. He was never meant to be the...

Re: Mattiacci walks already...

It was Di Montezemolo who placed Mattiacci after ousting Domenicali. I've read the same, while his replacement, Arrivabene, is Marchionne's man. First I thought Mattiacci was just moved on some place else to make a clean start/someone more suited to F1, but it seems he was a Montezemolo man and has...

The only lewisteria that ever bothered me was back in the ITV/james allen days, because it was unwarranted. Agree about the hulk. Someone mentioned FI before too, but i think it goes more to the hulk for finishing 6th even after a penalty.

1. Massa for the start and the chance of a win
2. Hulk

HM to Ricciardo, from pit lane last to 4th

I've already nominated him as ROTR in my predictions and that was one of the reasons, because it didn't look like it was going to rain. The other reason was me expecting him to over drive and do something else dumb too.

Those starting on the dirty side of the grid could make poor starts. In the last two years drivers starting in P2, P4, P6, P8 etc. have tended to lose places off the line/in the 1st turn. So even if the effects of starting in even-numbered grid positions has been reduced, I think the start will be ...
