1. 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix. Quite possibly the most hilarious comedy Grand Prix in some time.

2. Lance Stroll. Another race where he was better than Alonso.

1. McLaren. Absolute boneheaded stupidity, a complete driver management failure. If Norris loses the title by seven points, we can point to this nonsense.

2. Max Verstappen. A petulant toddler when he's not 30 seconds up the road from the next driver.

1. Lewis Hamilton. What a way to snap the winless streak. If I were him I'd be reconsidering that Ferrari contract ASAP.

2. Lance Stroll. Outperformed Alonso all weekend.

1. McLaren. Complete strategic incompetence cost the win for both Norris and Piastri.

2. Whoever stopped for inters the first time round. Their races were destroyed within laps.

1. Haas. An excellently executed race plan.

2. The battle for the lead. Yes it ended in tears, but an actual battle for the lead? In Formula 1? I thought that was illegal

1. Max Verstappen. Complete and utter head loss, not what we've come to expect at all. Even before the inevitable contact he was all over the place with constant reactive moves against Norris.

2. Fernando Alonso. Retire old man.

1. Alpine. Back to being best of the rest.

There wasn't enough intrigue from anyone else to merit an IIDOTR nomination.

1. Aston Martin . Looking more and more like the terrible outfit they were in early 2022. 2. Circuit de Catalunya . Please can we go somewhere else in Spain, the teams have so much data from this track that it always nullifies anything interesting from happening. :( Honourable mention to Mastercard ...

1. Haas. They deserve plaudits for trying something different at the start, shame it didn't work out in the end.

2. Alex Albon. That double overtake on Ricciardo and Ocon was amazing.

1. Ferrari. A disasterclass worthy of the Binotto years.

2. Sergio Perez. Not doing anywhere near enough to justify his contract extension.

2. Pierre Gasly. Survived attempted murder from his team mate to secure his first point of the season

We've only done half a lap and yet I feel we've got the nominations sewn up already. 1. Kevin Magnussen . I think we've seen the last of this idiot in Formula 1. 1. Takuma Sato. The guy's pushing 50 and he still continues to amaze us. Putting a Rahal car into the Fast 12 is one hell of an achievement.

2. Rinus VeeKay. The sheer size of this bloke's grapefruits to get his car into the Fast 12 having crashed a couple of hours earlier!

1. Alex Albon/Williams. Dangerous and ultimately silly.

2. Fernando Alonso. This geniuenly felt like the first weekend ever where you could argue Alonso's age was a factor against him. The guy's damn near superhuman but Old Father Time still remains undefeated.

1. Lando Norris. Could it really be anyone else? The first man to straight up beat Verstappen one on one since Austria 2022.

2. Esteban Ocon. Finally a points finish for Alpine in 2024.

1. Kevin Magnussen. Finally, Pastor Maldonado's record of most penalties in one race weekend is broken. Absolutely epic, he'll go far in this sport.

2. Sergio Perez. Nearly committed the cardinal sin and achieved the square root of sod-all today.

Well, of all the F1 races I've watched, this was certainly one of them. Nominate your IIDOTR contenders here!
