Re: BBC news quoting Robert Kubica 'seriously injured'

Time will tell with all these points but even for F1 (& F1Rejects), it's a bit early to be starting the 2012 silly season thread... It is never too early!! Does this mean that I win the prize for being first! Moving back closer to topic, as Renualt have alrready said that it is between Heidfeld...

Re: BBC news quoting Robert Kubica 'seriously injured'

The one thing that nobody seems to have mentioned is where this leaves Ferrari in 2012 - don't know about others but I for one was pretty convinced that Kubica was being lined up to replace Massa for 2012. As I others have said, and I have said before on on this thread, I would be very pleasantly su...

Re: BBC news quoting Robert Kubica 'seriously injured'

Catching the blade-edge of a barrier and being skewered by the pole on the driver's side isn't at least 10,000 to 1? You must watch a really bloody sport... If you crash against a guardrail it's not uncommon to happen. Take a look at Jochen Rindt's fatal accident: he crashed against a guardrail and...

Re: BBC news quoting Robert Kubica 'seriously injured'

One thing to consider, however, is that doctors reportedly wanted to remove Herbert's injured legs after his brands hatch crash all those years ago. They did not, and of course we know that johnny went on to have a great career. Let's hope this is the case for robert! I was at Brands on that terrib...

Re: Valencia Test Live Timing Links

Thanks! Had the Dutch site up today alongside the other three - has the advantage that it shows the number of laps run, but I found that it needed manual refreshing on my PC (running Windows7).

Lets keep an eye out for some more tomorrow!

Re: Reject F1 Cars

Technically, the latter ATS team, under the directorship of Schmidt, is ineligible - between 1977 and 1984, they scored 8 points, with three 5th places and two 6th's. Berger did also finish in 6th place in the 1984 Italian GP, but because ATS had not officially entered Berger at the start of the ye...

Re: Reject F1 Cars

You've been following F1 for 50 years? That's awesome Certainly building a car with a magnesium body in 1968 wasn't wise at all. John Surtees, thankfully, was wise and refused to drive it. Maybe we could add the Connew (built by a single man ), any BRM from 1975 to 1977.... Thanks, not quite 50 yea...

Re: Reject F1 Cars

Having been a freeloader chuckling at this website for a long time. I have finally been moved to stick my oar in by this thread - reject cars and teams were not a ninties phenomenon - having been a close observer of FI for not far short of half a century in my view if one wants to look for seriously...
