Re: Trouble at Ferrari, and all teams not named Red Bull...

Well, that's fair enough, in many cases innovations should be allowed to flourish. Oddly it seems the more restrictive the rules get the more tricky and expensive the devices required to gain an advantage. Still, certain elements that aren't in the spirit of the rules do merit removal, it's just har...

Re: Trouble at Ferrari, and all teams not named Red Bull...

Because thats what F1s about. Maybe. What I do know for sure is that this years testing season's been particularly frustrating for me to read about because ever since before the cars arrived at Jerez, teams were whinging about how clever some of their rivals were with exhaust positioning. And inste...

Re: The HRT thread

It seems Marussia will be keeping ahead if appearances are anything to go by. The exhaust 'solution' especially appears to be just jam them up and out of the side-pods with little regard for how it'll impact the car. Well, okay, clearly they thought about it but had no money to actually make a real ...

Re: The Marussia Thread

I can only see them falling further away from Caterham, anything up to another second if testing is anything to go by. I hope I'm wrong of course but I think the odds are in favor of the car being miles off of its nearest competitor. They might not even have the luxury of having the HRTs behind them...

Just out of curiosity, do you have insider knowledge of the team because you seem to have information about them long before anyone else.
I'm confused - why would you need insider information to compare the available info on the F112 to pictures of the F111?

Whippersnapper. They'll always be Benetton to me, and not that Mild 7 liveried one either! Lawn green and camel yellow all the way! (Okay, so they only used that livery for three years but it's still iconic to me.)

The whole Prost thing was unnecessary, though Prost didn't help his case by actively lying about it even to this day. (I loved how much he squirmed when he was called on his "I didn't go to the stewards" line. I don't condone what Prost did in '89 or what Senna did in '90, I just wish Alai...

Re: The HRT thread

This recent 'not the F112' fiasco has highlighted just how bad things are getting at HRT. Not only is their new 'image' and website the third (at least) in as many years but it's poorly designed and the website looks like it was made quickly on the cheap too. Add to that that they upload an image to...

Too bad it is somewhat slow... Have you seen it on the track, then? I wasn't aware they had tested it yet. Because the car hasn't been developed constantly since 2010 and they don't have much of a budget in place. I'll be impressed if it stays within 107% for the year to be honest, much more will b...

Visually I can identify only three changes - new front wing, new rear-wing end-plates and a shark fin, surely there's more than that but someone will have to point it out to me.

Edit - AH! Smaller side-pod entries and a straight rear-wing upper element.
