Prequalifying and qualifying. It didn't matter if you were a World Championship contender, fail to shine and you might even be sitting the race out whilst one of our reject teams on a stellar run can get themselves onto the grid in your place

Perry McCarthy. He was at least as good as Blundell,Brundle or Herbert in the Brat Pack and tested for Benetton,putting in some good times,but they'd got Schumacher.
