Re: 2018 Russian Grand Prix Thread

I actually spent my honeymoon in Adler, in a hotel 5 minutes go from the raceway. It was such a good time! And no, Adler wasn't empty before the Olympics. In fact, I spent my summer vacations there 7 times in a row when I was a child. I admit this particular part of Adler might have been emptier but...

I've read in an interview that some Bernie Ecclestone is upset with the way Liberty Media handles the sport, especially it's heavy reliance on social media and platforms. I am also aware of a popular opinion that Formula 1 is becoming gradually less exciting because the element of "heroism"...

The revelation season is over: let's rate them! Sauber: 10 - classy. Toro Rosso: 10 - a great leap forward in design. Renault: 9 - good Renaultish livery. Haas: 9 - you need to get used to that asphalt gray, but once you do.. Also, their shark fin is the BEST. Mercedes: 8 - nice job, improved over t...

I would only disagree with you, Simtek, in your opinion that the white ruins this McLaren. I think it's pretty nice overall, but on the contrary, I'd suggest to get rid of black there. We already have a yellowish-blackish contender, which is Renault. Having an orange-white livery would be an enhance...

Re: The Pre-Season Thread: launches, tests and all the rest!

My take on the showings so far: Williams pre-release photos: quite mediocre, as in, not much different from their previous livery. that's not exactly bad though, and the car looks slick, only they didn't touch the painting and I'm always in favor of livery creativity. Sauber: the best livery so far...

It might be a better bet for Wehrlein to stay at Manor than go to Sauber. I'd always liked Sauber until the Monisha era; she seems to make some very odd decisions around finance and driver contracts. Manor with new investors and a Merc engine sounds far more attractive than Sauber on the edge of fi...
