Re: 2014 Silly Season Thread
Caterham has announced that Marcus Ericsson will get two days at Jerez, Kobayashi and Frijns gets one day each. Meh. It's all about Kobayashi really Well, this makes me question how much seat time Ericsson has actually got in F1. Ericsson needs to get to grips with an F1 car again. Kobayashi doesn'...

That Ferrari. I'm not too bothered about the black part on the engine cover, but when I see the front all I can think is 'sad anteater that couldn't catch his ants'. Or is that just me?

Might as well throw my opinion behind these designs today: I like the McLaren design quite a bit. It's 'grown' on me. Sorry, couldn't resist that joke. But as Enoch pointed out, if you look at it from cockpit-down, it follows the lines of the car so it's not that bad. As for the lotus design, that s...

It's a fantastic livery. The black goes so well. The others colours are there because of India's national flag but it works really well. And the nose, from this angle, reminds me of the Williams and Simtek noses from 1994.

Delighted for Kamui to be racing in F1 again. But a little disappointed to see Giedo now a third driver. But he's got backing and is moving up the grid at least so if Gutierrez x2 fails again this season, the seat may be his in 2015. And talking of Caterham, GP2/3 commentator Will Buxton has said th...

To respond to the popular demand of customer cars: NO! If you can't build a chassis yourself you have no business in F1. Someone posted about no engine restrictions? If you meant the team could do whatever they wanted with the engine that would be a crazy idea. The cars would become so fast it would be dangerous. You'd then need so much more aero work done on the cars to stop them from just crashing or twisting. That ...
