Re: 2021 Discussion Thread
They had a slamdunk case. I am really surprised they aren't sueing the FIA for damages. I understand why they didn't challenge Max's title but I was expecting people higher up than Toto Wollf telling him that this is a way to get back the millions invested into this season. Reading reddit's reaction...

If there is a SC 1-2 laps earlier maybe Hamilton pits and calls Red Bull's bluff...if they keep Verstappen out he has 3 laps to fend off Hamilton on supersofts in a faster car. Not as foregone a conclusion as what we saw but definitely Mercedes have more time to think it through. Speaking of the VSC...

Actually you raise a good point I think many of us who are pre-Netflix (let's put it that way) are too used to Safety Cars being a fact of life in Formula 1. And don't see their overuse as something negative or positive. We saw Vettel win a championship under SC conditions. Many people tuning into C...

I've logged in after a couple of years because I wanted to vote for Michael Masi as ROTR and eventual ROTY. Even though he is not actually befitting of the Reject title even. Whilst I am here I would also say that the above is indeed the way someone concerned with safety and protocol would have ende...

My nominations are the race and also Nico H for being anonymous again. Hulkenberg was deployed as a Trulli-train to allow Perez into 10th place. I nominate Caterham for Kobayashi's start-and-park race which is already rejectful in itself and then trying to make out the brakes were overheating. Hono...

I actually think, if you compare this year's performance to recent years, Lotus have been performing worse than any of the other main nominations (Caterham, Sauber, Kimi, Ericsson etc). Have they really been rejectful though? A large part of their demise comes from lack of funding and losing people...

Why aren't they showing footage of the crash? Must be bad... They never show. Like senna crash last few seconds is not yet released. Well, officially it was never recorded. On board footage would have helped us understand the nature of the crash but FIA didn't even show that, which is understandabl...

I did wonder why they cut to seemingly pointless footage of the Sauber garage for so long just before the red flag. Stewards used a sheet to cover treatment of Bianchi behind his car in order to block tv from seeing any pictures. Really FIA? Bianchi might be injured. People want to know what happen...

Nice to see another win for someone other than Mercedes. It's a shame the wins can't be spread around a bit more, though! Yeah. The best race of the year. Not because of this, but it certainly helped. +1 This is why we watch. Canada was better. something like 5 or 6 cars at the end could have won t...

I'm curious as to how the 'new' teams will fare. It's really make or break for them. If we just have Marussia's car with Caterham's drivers then it would look promising.
I think they are destined for rejectdom, and very abject rejectdom that is. I hope they prove me wrong.

One thing I just thought of is why not let teams decide when they can have a double points race (rather than put in the end). Each team can chose which week-end they decide to activate their double points 'joker' (have to call it before FP1). It would add much more interest and mean you have at lea...
