Re: Ponderbox

Why is it that, although Bernie clearly doesn't care about the financial struggles of the minor teams, he still hopes that Caterham will make it to the Abu Dhabi GP? Have the sheiks demanded that on top of having the race worth double points, it must take place with a full 22-car grid? Call me cync...

Does anyone else think that turn is just asking for a multi-car pile up to occur? It looks narrower than Monaco.

Also, is there any reason the rendering team used 2009 cars?

Caterham: If they geniunely asked Kobayashi to start-and-park, then it's not a good sign for the team, and seems reminiscent of the 90's teams who did similar. I'll leave off nominating the race, the track or the tyres, as I think Pirelli played it safe with the tyre compounds, and as it was, it ju...

I could definitely see a safety changes made in wet races if there's a crash, as Brazil 2003 (twice) Europe 2007 and sadly now today have shown that it's very easy for multiple cars to aquaplane off in the same place, even under yellows.

The major short term goal in my opinion is generating batteries that can last the whole race, as I think that's the challenge at the moment in making the series more credible. I think the series isn't throwing itself into the deep end in the same way series like A1GP did, and with a good plan of dev...

Whist having 3 car teams could result in the points being locked out, in the 90's Ferrari, Williams, McLaren and Benetton regularly had the majority of points between them, so it's not like it hasn't happened before.

I'm quite surprised with all the nominations for McLaren, if the rain really did come down, then they would have pulled off a great strategy. Sometimes, you've got to take the risks to get the reward.

ROTR for Grosjean, binning it behind the Safety Car is a reject-worthy offence at any race.
