Fuji seems like a track that should be great, but some corners are a real pain in the backside, from my experience on Gran Turismo. Also, the old last corner was better in my opinion.

Rather than take the pit stop time from the entry to exit of the pit lane, could they use the time the cars are in the garage. Start the timer when the first car stops, and wait until the minimum time for the second car to drive off

My issue with customer cars is that it runs the risk of wiping out the midfield and creating a two-tier system. Teams like Sauber, Lotus, Force India won't want to spend millions developing their own car, if others spend far less on a spec chassis.

Not quite a belt failure but Justin Wilson was flung around in the cockpit of his MInardi at Malaysia one season, 2002 or 2003 I think Wasn't it something to do with his HANS device? Apparently the HANS device wasn't fitted properly, trapping a nerve, and causing him to lose feeling in his arms. m
