Re: 2016 Spanish Grand Prix

Stick with it Coops, we like having you around. And I kind of hope that Ricciardo beats Verstappen as well. Also thanks Bisicone for that explanation of recent history in WRC. I don't follow it, but it's nice to know what has gone on in other forms of motor sport. F1 has been pretty nice this year,...

Re: Leicester City themed F1 thread - F1 stories and upsets

Brawn is the F1 version of Leicester... relegation form in 2007/8, Winners in 2009. Although Jordan in 1999 would have been the proper equivalent had they been able to carry it off. I see Jordan more like Newcastle United. Up there and then were just blahhhhh. Brawn is the real answer in terms of w...

If I were Kvyat, I'd keep my head up, show my damn best in Toro Rosso and move to either Renault or Haas or wherever the journey takes him.

It would really hard to keep your head up after that but yeah audition for 2017 roles.

The last time we had numerous different winners and pole sitters, people complained it was too boring and forced F1 to change rules. Not necessarily boring, but people were complaining that having so many drivers competing for wins was too random and ruining F1. Given I believe 2012 was the best se...

India never does sport right. They released tickets for the WT20 like two weeks before the event actually started. 2010 Commonwealth Games were shambles.

They only thing they can host is the IPL. India is just a difficult country, I should know.

I really don't mind watching sports of Pay TV. They get less crapped on by delays, scheduling and all that jazz. Plus we got Pay TV for cricket and got several sports with it. Started to watch some baseball. It's pretty lit.

Re: 2016 Russian Grand Prix

This year is turning out to be such a 2004. So much hype by Mercedes' competitors that they're going to 'take the fight to them', then none of them can get their act together properly to put a serious challenge to them. Ferrari has taken points away from themselves every race this year so far, and ...

That is another possibility - it shares some characteristics with Bahrain, where Manor also performed fairly well, so it might be one of their stronger tracks this season. And, unlike Bahrain, it could also provide wet weather racing. Although come to think of it, if their calling card for an upset...

10. Kvyat - 2nd and standing up to Vettel. Not giving a shite about what Seb had to say. "it's racing. You're on the podium, I'm on the podium. It's fine".
