Wow, this thread now has over ten thousand views, with about a tenth of those since about Christmas. Not bad for a thread celebrating a one-qualifying-attempt team from nearly two decades ago. This is a great read. Fascinating how much a team like that could show some promise at points in 1989 at simply running as a midfield/back end lapper to completely falling off a cliff a year or so later.
