Re: Imola signs Italian Grand Prix agreement

With the conjecture floating around Monza at the moment, Bernie and FOM has decided to force the Automobile Club d'Italia's hand and has signed a provisional deal with the Imola circuit management to have the Italian Grand Prix there from 2017. Re: The reject youtube thread

Shame there was no outside view of that - where did that Benetton come from? It looked like he was at fault. A real shame to trash that car. As for the Panoz....nah, no-one cares, do they?? Now we got two old race cars that might never see the track again. the Benetton was completely totaled, quite...

Re: 1994 Season Review

I never appreciated how much it seems to indicate Prost taking a McLaren seat in 1994 was a real possibility. Read an article recently by Martin Brundle who was asked how good/bad that 1994 Mclaren was. Martin replied that one morning during 1994 pre-season testing in Estoril, Prost spent the whole...

Re: 1994 Season Review

Hey all, gonna try and track down some more tunes soon A bit of a bump to post about an oddity I found: There are alternative versions of the 1993, 1994 and 1997 season reviews on Dailymotion. Simon Taylor handles commentary duties for the first 2 (So no Wossy in 93!) and the bloke who did the 91 r...

Re: Pacific F1 Team 1995 Press map

Last weekend i collected lots of archive maps full with F1 stuff with it a lot of press maps (otherwise it would end up as old paper!!!) and well i know many of you, like me, do love the Pacific Team. And it seemed im the "PROUD" owner now of the Pacific F1 Team 95's press Map. (Or how to...

And Andy neate has gone. m Just what was even the point in his return if he decided his heart wasn't in it after one round. Wonder who takes over the TBL as it was mentioned it would be reallocated by Thruxton. http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Laughing/lol-053.gif totally bizarre. Unless run...

Re: 2016 Australian Grand Prix

So is Palmer going to be the next Di Resta? Next Brit to be adored by Crofty and Brundle who's pretty average. How much of that is simply trying to appeal to their audience? Or could it possibly be an emperor's new clothes scenario given Dad Jonathan's charisma/clout in UK motorsports? The NBC broa...

I think I found something of Isuzu V12 engine on action mounted on Lotus m The video and a rough translation from Japanese wiki of "Isuzu P799WE" matched each other: "The shakedown was conducted at the test track of Lotus Cars on July 31 and August 2. Then start testing at Silverston...

Unsurprisingly, Paras Racing are withdrawing from the BTCC . Feel sorry for the Paras themselves, but good riddance to the Palmers. Josh Cook and Ashley Sutton. m Will Aron Smith even be on the grid this season? Only Power Maxed, Eurotech and AmD still have drives avaliable. This is a great read. Fascinating how much a team like that could show some promise at points in 1989 at simply running as a midfield/back end lapper to completely falling off a cliff a year or so later.

Just browsing around on YouTube and found what appears to be Taki Inoue's channel - he commented on this video of Giovanni Lavaggi's qualifying run at Monza in 1995 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijVlOmIrFf8

Assuming it's actually him, the stuff he's liked is pretty tremendous :D https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6Br4L ... WHGmA/feed

The thing with the MG was that 2015 was its fourth year of competition without any major changes. In that time Honda had changed vehicles twice, to the Tourer and then the Civic Type R. Plus the BMR VWs, the BMW 125i, the new Ford this year, and the Mercedes meant it was often the fourth or fifth b...

The BMW is getting a bit long in the tooth isn't it? Could see it getting pushed back a bit like MG were this year. Speaking of MG... They'll be around for another three years with Triple Eight. No word on drivers but from the article it seems like they'll be going for youth. Hopefully Jack Goff, i...
