Re: Your Reject of the Year 2012

Mercedes . Having won a race in the first half of the season made it quite hard not to have high expectations for them. They made Schumacher's mistakes even more apparent by the mere fact of mechanical issues, which were down to the car and not the driver. They even announced Hamilton's seat takeov...

Re: Official 2012 Brazilian GP ROTR

Actually, on second thought, I nominate Hamilton for ROTR. He's proving once again that hotheadedness does not work, it was an incident that could have been avoided, had not his relentlessness intervened. And what the hell was that parking on the other side of the track (near the pit exit) when he c...

Well it was a nice call for Kimi to take the old Interlagos track, instead of trying to turn on the grass... who would have known that the exit was blocked? Hilarious stuff. Epic race, btw. :P

Well, I expected more of a comeback from the man who is the reason why I started watching F1 in 1994. But, such is life. Anyway, great memories, and I believe these Mercedes years won't do much harm to his reputation.

Re: Reject of the Race - Belgium 2012

Well, the thing with Grosjean was quite entertaining actually, it's getting tiresome to see the usual suspects and their usual finishing positions, thanks to their cars' impeccable reliability. Kind of reminded me of Spa 1998. Nobody got a reprimand then, if my memory serves me right. But yes, it wa...

A tough call this one. Here it goes: 3. Mercedes - Even the backmarkers have a higher reliability rate, 2. Massa - You're not getting a seat in 2013, but you probably know that already, 1. Button - Having your teammate win the race and being overlapped by the said teammate is incredibly rejectful.

The sack of Buemi and Alguersuari is definitely a surprise, given their consistency and generally solid performances. Of course, they never did a Vettel, but again, bringing two almost complete rookies to F1 (in the same team) instead of using experienced and seasoned talent seems a little strange.
