Jeez its been years since I posted on here. I've very briefly returned to say that as an F1 Rejects fan who likes his metal music (but who is also a bit uneducated on Scandinavian metal), The Hammer of Retribution Ogg-Cast sounds like something I should start listening to! Cheers!

Time for new talent. I think people like Willis are trading on reputation really these days. He's likely to be a safe bet, but Mercedes need results in the next 2 seasons otherwise the higher-ups are going to get nervous. Agreed 100%. A past of success doesn't mean that you can still perform at you...

Re: F1 To Be Split Between BBC 1 and Sky Sports from 2012

Anyway, the teams are apparently none too pleased because they really want F1 on Free to air so their sponsors get more coverage (and pay them more). Hopefully FOTA will kick up a nice fuss soon before it's too late to save next season. This is the main reason I thought we would never see F1 leave ...

I think its a case of the super reliability of modern F1 causing us to all want drivers to be punished more for small mistakes. I think the limits are discussed in the drivers breifing. Not fully related, but I think Hamilton should also have got a reprimand for squeezing Massa towards the pitlane, including pitcrew after Massa's release alongside him. We saw Vettel do this in China 2010, and I think it's a bad precedent to...

Stating the obvious I know but Button was punished for overtaking Massa whilst off the track in Melbourne. I think in general the stewards are more lenient these days than in years past and I for one am pleased as a result. I hate seeing drivers penalised constantly.
