Re: 2012 Malaysia Grand Prix Discussion Thread

I don't believe it's been mentioned yet, but spare a thought for 'anonymous' Webber, who followed Alonso into the pits after the restart and came out with five cars between them. And as a result, several more were able to leapfrog him the following lap despite pitting later, most obviously his team...

The subscription to Sky is going to cost 60 Euro per month? Holy crap. I didn't realize it was going to be that much more expensive for you all. I understand the complaints here. (Still, however, this is how the world of business works, like it or not.) That's my best estimate I can get using the S...

How much don? The license fee? 21e a month. The subscription? 25e a month. (Granted, it has 7 other channels too, but since the channels cannot be bought separately and since I only really wanted MTV3 MAX... its basically 25e) Wow, your TV licence is expensive! Right, who knows what European channels show F1? Presumably they'd still retain their contracts for broadcasting in their own countries and there must be a way to view their output from Britain - then we can just turn the sound off and listen to the radio commentary.

This track is the problem, it's got no space for passing, and its layout means that there is only 1 optimal way around the track. It's the stupid not-quite-straight-straights. Yeah, the cars look really good going around those little kinks but they don't provide any challenge for the driver as they...

I'm one of the few people who liked the A-1 Ring, but that's probably because I never saw a race at the Osterreichring. I'm the same. I never saw the old track, but the A-1 Ring was a simple, fun little track with none of the complicated chicanery of Tilke's later designs. I notice that there is so...
