No, I believe they count against the car, so Badoer would have taken Massa's allocation, Alguersuari has taken over Bourdais's allocation and Piquet's allocation has gone to Roman Fatjohn.

I would have to say Markus Winkelhock - qualify last, then had a 30-second lead before the race was red-flagged, then fell back from first to last before retiring. Last to first to last to DNF? Pukka!

Ferrari should be able to do straight line tests (which I believe they will do) for Schumacher to famiarise himself with the latests controls (i.e. KERS) and moveable wings and to reaquient himself with the speed, breaking and accelaration. Thats it. SHouldn't take more than an hour. These F1 teams...

Hallelujah! I have found a place where people are talking sense! :o Ferrari have always tried to twist the rules to their own advantage on so many occasions, it makes a pleasant change to see the team who have the third-highest number of GP wins standing up to them.

Despite the commercial breaks, I still find myself downloading SpeedTV coverage after every race. The commentator crew works well together and actually adds something to the race. Perhaps he is doing something similar to what the NASCAR Cup drivers did in the Busch/Nationwide series - Driving in a lower series on the same track in order to get more experience and setup ideas. Then again, I don't think Formula Renault goes on the same tracks as F1, so perhaps he's just trying...

I am confident that if anything can be learnt from this very unfortunate set of circumstances, then it will be implemented, if for no other reason than Jonathan Palmer, organisor of both Brands and F2, has his own son competing in the F2 series and that his condolences will be genuine.
