So, thanks to McLaren team orders, Perez is the only driver from the top 4 teams yet to win a race in 2024, whilst his teammate is currently the only multiple race winner, at 7. Yet Perez is still ahead of Russell in the Drivers Championship.

Russell, Perez and Alpine were Rejects of Q1 and Qualifying overall.

As for the race, it's a slam dunk as everyone else has stated.

Gotta agree with Leclerc and McLaren strategists, so I’ll go for…

George Russell’s water system failures.

Add the last two together led to a lost British 1-2-3, which looked possible for the first half of the race, until the first pit stops.

Double DNF for Ferrari and for inadvertently causing Williams to also have a double DNF.

George Russell for having the opportunity to win and nearly finishing 5th instead. At least Norris always consistently seemed in the running for a podium.
