Grand Prix Rejects

Chris Amon (1943-2016) has sadly passed away at the age of 73. A reject team owner while by no means a reject driver (though he never won), F1 has lost another legend.

Lotus' 2011 bids have been sent.

1. Williams: absolutely nowhere on pace, barely scraped into the points with one retirement
2. Hamilton's C4 interview: obnoxious and cruel to Rosberg (I mean, he wasn't so gloating when he won the British GP)
DHM: Ferrari's feeble strategists.

Huge crash in Race 3 at Snetterton, Abbott fliiped over into the camera gantry while avoiding a collision involving Martin ( ) and Howerd. No one hurt, thankfully.

Lotus will continue in 2011, though hopefully our form won't.

It seems a bit improbable, but if the above article isn't just fluff, we may yet see Vandoorne racing in 2016... In a Manor!

ROTR: 1. Erm... Ourselves (Lotus): Didn't qualify or prequalify all year, headless-chicken-spec (non) ownership and only beating Stefan and Williams very rarely all season, otherwise being dead last. All in all, it makes any other nominations very difficult and a tad hypocritical... 2. ... so nomina...

Well at least we're marginally better than Di Grassi and Van de Garde (if that's not damning with faint praise, I don't know what is).

If the offer's still available, I could try to grasp less defeat from the jaws of defeat at Lotus for the rest of the season. I'll keep the lineup unchanged if so.
