Re: Ferrari 'to quit' over budget row

Fellow legend Ukyo Katayama was there duking it out for the lead in the last moments of the race when, as was often the case with him, things went wrong. He had a tyre failure, and its actually quite scary to watch: m As they have said there, how he managed to keep the car on the road after the punc...

Re: Most Forgettable Drivers

I hadn't even heard about Ricardo Rosset until last year. Sure he made some funny stuff while in the car, especially in Tyrrell, but he is as anonymous as a driver can be.

Re: 15 years ago today (plus one day)

I could have posted this in the YouTube thread but I thought it would make a better fit here.
A footage I hadn't managed to see before and I was hoping I could get my eyes on:

Gerhard Berger drives the Lotus 98 in memory or Ayrton Senna, before the 2004 San Marino GP.

Re: 40 Million Cap, New Teams anyone??

I offer to bring Filling, Fondmetal, Safra and Sega sponsorship by means not to be disclosed at this point.
I might as well get my hand on some Mugen engines, hopefully also screwing a better backmarker team than ourselves. ;)
They probably won't fit in the car anyways.

Nope, he must be weighed compared to the weight of a duck.
Then we burn him.

Wait, wasn't that what Giovanna Amatti was meant to be?
You know, a desperate attempt at obtaining cash for a team that was in such condition as Brabham?

The 2000 Podium was Bronze - Sato, Silver - Diniz, Gold - Wurz.

I didn't know Takuma had been in F1 since 2000!
I thought he came to smash Jordans to smitherrens in 2002. ;)

I take it you guys meant Salo then?

Re: F1 Rejects Competition?

What they did do, in the 2001 season review I think, was the top 10 things we didn't see in the season.

It was an amusing list alright, and indeed I would have loved to see fisticuffs between JPM and RSchu, or a duel for Jaguar between Rahal and Lauda in the R2.

Re: GP Tracks we would like to see

How about a Columbian GP, where the cars are filled with a mysterious white powder (where is Stepney nowadays?). Then then have to get to the harbour whilst being pursued by helicopter gunships. Come to think of it this could be combined with a Columbia to Miami F1 powerboat race. It never takes ve...

Re: Your Reject of the Race - Australia

In my opinion at least, Eddie Jordan is WIN.
No matter what he does or what he says.
Except courtrooms. If he's in court you just KNOW he's going to lose. ;)
