Re: Your Reject of the Race - Bahrain

If we leave the politics alone (which we should IMO regardless of how dismal the whole Bahrain royal family looks like in wake of the protests), undoubtfully McLaren wins the ROTR award here. Not one but TWO botched pitstops for Hamilton plus a late-race puncture and a mechanical failure for Button....

Re: The HRT thread

Well, they both finished today which is more then I expected. Caterham had the most mechanical DNFs last season while HRT the least, but I guess it's partly down to Caterham actually trying to improve the car and throw in more new parts then Marussia and HRT. However it's all pretty similar to AGS i...

Re: ROTR Malaysia 2012

1. Felipe Massa - for a Ferrari driver to finish only ahead of the so-called "new teams" while your teammate wins the race is absolutely apalling. Australia could have been a freakish one-off (allthough I didn't think it was), but now with a new chassis, the performance was even worse. Mas...

Re: Your Reject of the Race - Hungary!

Has to be d'Ambrosio. He's been Mr. Anonymous this season so far, but he reached a new low in Hungary. Qualified last even behind the HRTs and then had a laughable spin in the pits. No contest even with the lacklustre Renaults and Hamilton's spin.

My picks for ROTR: 3. The decision of reverting their...

Re: Rookies To Come Into F1 in a few years time

Jules Bianchi and Valtteri Bottas have the greatest chance to hit F1 on merit. The next US F1 driver could well be Conor Daly, but he'll need to get GP2 seat as soon as next year perhaps and then put some impressive drives to catch someone's attention. Ricciardo's chances would have been better if R...

Vettel's next teammate at RBR will be Buemi, it's pretty obvious and might happen as soon as 2012 unless Webber wins 2010 WDC and quits the sport in which case Buemi will be at RBR next year.

I'd like to see Grossgene come back soon. As Kobayashi's example shows, you don't have to be a GP2 kingpin to get hooked up with F1. In fact, more GP2 and F3000 front runners before have failed to deliver in the big league (Boullion, Zonta, Pantano) then some of the second tier rivals. I bet nobody...

Teams at the back usually ask for some cash and Grosjean most certainly doesn't have it.
