Thread archeology! I hadn't looked at BOSS GP in a couple of years and I just had a look at the website. It's looking quite healthy and there are still some very interesting cars racing in it. I may have to have a look at the 2019 calendar and see if I can find a way to go one of the races or, even ...

Not that related to F1, but the 2003 International F3000 season has to have the worst driver lineup in any second-tier feeder series' existence. It really says something about the quality of the field when Gary Paffett - who only did one race, finished 14th and placed second-bottom in the champions...

I'll avoid the Verstappen and / or Ocon options and I'll go for McLaren. Embarassing. Until recently, McLaren had 3 things that could conceivably still classify them as a top team: 1) a factory engine 2) a top driver 3) history 1 was gone at the end of last year, 2 is going very soon and 3 is more a...

Money is no excuse anymore, because apparently Kubica now brings the same amount of backing as Sirotkin. It seems like the team have clearly stated their intent to go with skill over money by signing Russell, so if money is not the issue, they would be crazy not to go with Robert. Money never neede...

Unfortunately tax avoidance is legal, while evasion is a crime. The current UK tax law is far too lax so it allows for several means of avoiding tax for those are willing and can afford to exploit them.

Well, peteroli34 and AxelP800 have both got half of the answer right - it was indeed the brakes which Villeneuve wrecked, with Forghieri noting that the car came back with the discs glowing white hot and the pads disintegrating.
