I was lucky enough to start watching F1 in 1989. As a little nipper,every race full of a bumper crop of cars,loads of unpredictability,retirements galore,controversy,characters,it was perfect...

Sensible decision. Racing incident. They made the point on BBC that even though Jenson swung to the left,that's the natural line and showed that Schumi had followed exactly that line just before,so he hadn't followed an unusual path.

I'd prefer it to be like it was before where if it was a small collision,we got on with it and decided it was A or B's fault or racing incident. Only if it was something major was it investigated-not two cars diving for a corner at the same time and bashing wings.

I WANT ANOTHER LAP! There was a train of backmarkers they were having to come up to which could have done anything- Schumi was about to pass Webber...Massa just held off Kobayashi on the line...

Or Clay Regazzoni-I've just read his biography including the tales of when he went missing for a practice session and was tracked down to the bedroom of the hotel they were staying in bed with the hotel owner and her daughter...

Yep,keep waiting we've got a few hours till sunset :D Australia 91=-if they'd waited an hour or two they'd have been able to run. Malaysia had to be abandoned because it was too late at night.Once the rain finishes,we should we able to go PDQ

Prequalifying and qualifying. It didn't matter if you were a World Championship contender, fail to shine and you might even be sitting the race out whilst one of our reject teams on a stellar run can get themselves onto the grid in your place
