Re: Singapore GP IIDOTR

Liam Lawson : Points in only his third race – he should get the AlphaTauri seat next year (and for the rest of the season too, to be honest). Also the toughest fight against the Red Bulls from an AlphaTauri driver since Kvyat in 2016, possibly? Honorable mention to Sainz for breaking Red Bull's str...

Re: Singapore GP ROTR

Red Bull : What a disaster weekend! After so many dominant victories, it all comes to an end with a double failure to reach Q3, followed by a race where they struggled for the most part (especially Pérez). When a 5th place looks like a good result for the performance they had, you know they've had ...

Re: Champion elimination alternative championship

In Singapore, Norris takes another win. He's building a significant championship lead (further helped by another fastest lap point), as Stroll failed to start after a crash in qualifying and Ocon is starting to drop out of contention with a retirement. Gasly is doing his best with a second place ahe...

In Monza, the expected thing happened. Norris takes the championship lead with another win while Stroll only manages a seventh place (second to last of the finishers). However, the real star of the weekend is Liam Lawson who finishes second in his second Grand Prix, better than any of his predecesso...

Bottas scoring a point was the most unexpected result of the weekend for me. Also nice performances by Lawson, Albon and Sainz. Additional honorable mention to Porsche Supercup for the most insane race of the Monza weekend.

We're down to a (ridiculous) nine-car grid, as De Vries was dropped by AlphaTauri. McLaren's streak of great performances continues with another 1-2. Norris takes his third win (and fastest lap) in a row and Piastri gets another second place. Despite a recent downturn in performance, Stroll only los...
