Re: Microprose Grand Prix - 20 years too late...

How in the world did you resurrect Gilles Villeneuve from the dead AND bring James Hunt from retirement? Not to mention 113-year-old Enzo Ferrari running the team as well... It's quite simple... I used the -respawn parameter on the command line, and all three came back to life. It works with others...

Re: Reject F1 Cars

As to where that car came from, I really do not know - it might just be, as you say, a one off car for that exhibition, but why they would go to the extent of changing the sidepods? Perhaps your suggestion of that particular design being one of the less successful prototypes that was re-used for pr...

Microprose Grand Prix either doesn't know about the two hour limit, or doesn't care. Can't say Hockenheim will take that long, though.

How about putting F1 Rejects logo on the COOL SPOT? As soon as I saw "THIS IS A COOL SPOT" I immediately thought of the character of the same name from the 7Up adverts in the 90s... in the US. Cool Spot only ever hit our shores on the damp side of the Atlantic in the form of the SNES &...

GP2 Reject-to-be Ricardo Teixeria was linked to the second Hispania seat, but he's been spotted in Valencia driving for filming purposes. It's a shame; he brings money from Sonangol, who have made some great red, black and yellow liveries in the past. It would have looked good on a Hispania. And he...

Re: 2011 Car Launches

Livery related, it looks just fine. From the car design point of view, it looks cool but slow, just like last year... Bit too much white on the nosecone, but other than that, it's still Manor Motorsport's colours, and that'll do fine. Designwise: the airbox and the sidepods haven't changed at all, ...

This looks like a good place to park this question. The Virgin VR-01 is, by all measures, an utterly rejectful car. The fuel tank debacle was the worst of its problems, but more technically-minded people pointed to the obvious signs of its first-attempt-at-an-all-CFD approach - which centred mainly ...
