Re: Reject of the race leaderboard

Japan 2002 was shared between the 9 teams apart from Ferrari due to them all failing miserably to even get close to challenging Ferrari, as had been the case all season. That's why so many teams scores end in .11. I agree it's surprising that they've never won it outright. In particular they were lu...

Re: Reject of the race leaderboard

Yes it comes from 1/2 (0.50) of Europe 2007, 1/6 (0.17, well, 0.1666...) of Bahrain 2008, now 1/4 (0.25) of Malaysia 2013. So actually it's .91666..., i.e. 11/12ths. No-one's shared as many awards as Hamilton, although Raikkonen has the odd-looking .31 (actually .30555...) courtesy of 1/18th (0.0555...

Do some people still not realize how the races are decided? The BBC start by picking 3 races to show live, then Sky choose 3 to have exclusively, then after that they take it in turns to pick one at a time until all the races are chosen. Clearly with this system, both channels are going to end up wi...

I guess basic mistakes and tortoise pace are just taken for granted as the norm from him, so not usually punished with RotR. Whereas arguably Schumacher's 7 time champion status is part of the reason why he has so many. (It's not just his comeback, he would've been top when his 1st career ended, and...

I believe Alonso's style of driving is very car friendly. That's why he has so few mechanical failures. That is a real skill. Fernando won't go down in the history as a quick driver, but rather as a complete driver that had it all. I just don't buy the idea that a driver's style can affect the like...
