Re: Your Reject of the Race - Japan
Rear view mirrors. Leclerc loses one, Hamilton loses one, left and right respectively if I remember correctly. Appeared to have absolutely no effect on speed or race craft, or any effect whatsoever in fact. What's the point of them? Commentators are always saying that the driver couldn't see somebo...

Re: Your Reject of the Race - Russia
If we close the pit lane during a SC, wouldn't you then be able to argue that benefits drivers that had already pitted at that point as the field is bunched up and you would lose a massive amount of track positions when pitting after a SC?

Re: Your Reject of the Race - Russia
Ferrari turned up as favourites after last week, qualified strongly, started the race strongly and then proceeded to throw it all away. By trying to be clever they turned what looked like a safe haul of 43 team points into 15.

Thought I'd make one, because it didn't exist yet Ricciardo has been disqualified due to a technical infringement in Q1. His MGU-K exceeded the power limit on one of his timed laps in Q1. He will be allowed to start, but so far I haven't found out if he starts on the grid or from the pit-lane. Renau...

Re: The strangely absent 2019 Belgian Grand Prix thread
I don't think there's been a more fitting race winner than this weekend. That's the tonic we all needed. Norris broke down on the final lap and lost his chance of unrejectification, but as a result Alexander Albon is unrejectified! Albon's move at the end is under investigation by the stewards beca...

Re: Your Reject of the Race - Hungary
My first nomination is Ferrari. I don't think anybody but the most devoted Tifosi was expecting them to win today, but to finish a minute behind the first place car (remember, they both burned 20 seconds on an unplanned pit stop too) is just beyond any expectations. If either of the first two didn't...

I noticed Kubica didnt lose as much ground as he 'normally' does . And in the F2 , the strugglers were also more competitive . I found it interesting, but can't think why. May be a coincidence. As for the safety car - I was disappointed a VSC couldnt be used . I can't see why not, personally . Stra...

Bottas was completely robbed of that win by the safety car, and only the fact that the entire Sky broadcast team are British at the British Grand Prix meant that the fact Bottas was robbed was only a very minor detail in the race report. Absolutely unfair. Oh well. Seconded, in fact I'm surprised i...

I'd vote for "Penalties issued by the Stewards during the race session".
This would very specifically exclude penalties issued after the chequered flag falls.
