Congratulations and thank you all as well for making Gp Rejects what it is. I don't think any of us would have it any other way.
I joined on 1st April by the looks of it, so I guess that also makes me part of the old guard?
Not much of a poster myself, rarely do I feel I have much to contribute.

You mean, like when the tifosi shrieked their heads off with joy when Alonso retired from the 2006 Italian GP? A personal favorite of mine is when Patrese (in a Brabham) took the lead from Tambay (in a Ferrari) then crashed two corners later in the 1983 San Marino GP. The crowds reaction is such th...

Well, when you consider the problems they had with an oil tank during the first test you wonder if it was actually throughly tested before hand in the first place.
Mario may correct me on that but I think such should have been picked up during the design phase.

Their time might be better spent working on the car rather than coming up with that rubbish. You really think the person who runs Mclarens Twitter account is the same person who builds the car? No, but I think in an organisation such as McLaren nothing gets done without a nod from someone up top. P...

Well to be fair having a sub-par engine after 3 years and change if you're an institution of Honda's repute is nothing short of astounding. I suppose there's enough reasons to be excited about the upcoming season if one is a McLaren fan. I for one cannot wait to see what BS excuses Eric Boullier com...

I have no issue with Stroll's ability, or credentials, or the source of his funding through his junior carreer. I for example have nothing but immense respect for Pedro Diniz, whom the cynics might call the ultimate pay driver. But he put it best when he said that money or family don't count when yo...

My point is that neither of Stroll's predecessors (rookies both) made as many mistakes as he did in their first test (or if they did they probably weren't as costly).

Stroll has binned it. Again.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until Melbourne, but so far it isn't looking good for him, or Williams. All that lost mileage's gotta hurt.

Montoya has a pathological dislike of the mid-field (part of the reason he left McLaren/was sacked me thinks, that and the fact that he just didn't care anymore) as he has told in I don't know how many interviews. I don't think it matters at all whether Benetton cheated or not during 94. If they did, they did it well enough to not get caught (and its safe to say it wasn't the first time nor the last a team has had a liberal interpretation of the rules) so kudos to them. If they didn't, all the more reason for...

If you have all the fuel adjusted lap times for each driver, could you sort them all from fastest to slowest, and plot histograms for each? We might be able to learn a thing or two from their probability distributions, just a thought.
