Re: 2016 Abbadabby Grand Prix - The Marina Melee

Why do they use the flag of the United Arab Emirates instead of the flag of Abu Dhabi? They're just keeping the door open for the eventual GP at Dubai Autodrome. That makes no sense. If they were doing that, you would expect them to use the flag of Abu Dhabi, since if there would be a GP at Dubai, ...

Well, the silly season just got a lot more interesting over the past week. I really hope Kvjat gets the free seat at Williams, even though it doesn't look likely. Stroll is too young and talented but unproven, although if he wins the GP3 title that won't hurt his credentials. I also hope Ocon will g...

Re: Massa will retire at the end of the season

Sad to hear the news. I thought he had a couple more years in him, since of the old guard (Button, Räikkönen, Alonso and him) he was the most recent debutante. I understand his decision to retire though. But it's a shame he never won a World Championship. In better circumstances, it would for sure h...

Did anyone else see someone watching on the oval where it passes over the track between Serraglio and Ascari? While less dangerous than walking on the actual track where the race takes place, I can't help but wonder if that was allowed.

They are subtracted from the race distance. For example: Sakhir track is 5,412 kilometres and ran over 57 laps. This should make the distance of 308,484 kilometres, however the official distance was listed as 308,238 km. In these cases it's lap 1 which is shorter than others and in some cases drive...
