I really shouldn't be thinking "yep, pretty cool" at someone winning a sixth world championship, but I've got so used to Hamilton just being the champion... the same thing happened with Vettel, and someone who's been watching for longer could say the same about Schumacher. It felt weird wh...

The engines change automatically in terms of where to do extra power and where to recharge, don't they? Isn't that one big driver aid by this judgment? Funny enough for Racing Point, the team who benefits most from this is Toro Rosso. Force, er, Racing Point are getting the most points out of it, ga...

Re: The Mexico City baseball stadium grand prix

I think the first five corners would be better off with a radius, like they used to have, although turns 1–3 and 4–5 felt a little similar before—4 and 5 had their "less exciting Fagnes" thing going on, but still—and now the two sections feel more different from each other. I like the new ...

All right, here's my 2020 crew. There are no Finnish guys, but it'll be okay, because I'm keeping it very Nordic. Kyle Kirkwood actually won his series, so he's staying. Felipe Drugovich didn't stand out in FIA F3. He wasn't terrible, but he wasn't what I wanted. So I'm doing something I should've d...

If only there was something that allowed you to pick an F1 points system and then multiplied the points of each race based on the length of the season. Wouldn't that be great?

Really, though, it's weird how some people take raw win records and the like seriously

Unfortunately, the cut off time for qualifying was set as a 1m50.4s lap time (110% of pole), and Ernesto could only manage a 1m57.7s lap time, which was the 27th best time out of 30 (the cut off time meant only 21 drivers qualified in the end). It was the second fastest, not pole! At least accordin...

Some silly stats... We've had twelve races so far this season. Hamilton is the de facto No 1 at Mercedes. Ignoring fastest laps. he has scored 248 (250-2) points out of a possible 300 (25x12), i.e. 83%. If it were assumed that Bottas would be expected to maximise second places then his 186 (188-2) ...
