Re: 2010 Turkish Grand Prix Discussion

It wasn't until the very end of the race, when the result wasn't in doubt anymore, that Rosberg slowly closed up. Rosberg said in an interview to German TV, he wanted the gap, because if the rain had come, there would have been enough time for Schumacher to clear the pits so Nico would not be delay...

Re: Create your ideal 18-race calendar

If we can make up such dreams, we can also dream, that we can implement maximum safety on any track, so I choose the following in no particular order: 1 US GP - Watkins Glen (1967 Layout) 2 Belgium - Spa (1967 Layout) 3 German GP - The Green Hell 4 East German GP - Sachsenring (old) 5 Italian GP - M...

Nope. The Schu said this after quali, but he was wrong, both had the same wing.

Re: Television's Worst

Believe me, even the worst English commentary is way better than what we have to live with in German TV. The pit/grid reporter also interviews so called celebrities in the audience of boxing fights, and the question he asks the drivers are quiet similarly stupid... The main commentator does his job ...

Re: Your favourite reject team of all time?

It has to be Connew, the guy built the thing in his garden shed basically; got it qualified in the hands of Francois Migault in one race.

I don't know if it has been posted here, but on this page is the full story: http://www.axos.nl/retrorace/temp/The%2 ... 0Story.htm
Reading this makes me add my vote to Connew.

1. Fangio 2. Clark 3. Moss 4. G Villeneuve 5. Lauda 6. Prost 7. Stewart 8. Peterson 9. Gurney 10. HH Frentzen (fighting for the championship in a Jordan deserves a point) For a Top 15 I'd add Bellof, Andretti, G Hill, Hakkinen and J Brabham No Points for Senna or Schumacher, because in my opinion, a...

Re: Best F1 Game

Grand Prix Legends is still the best. You can really feel those old cars on the track, unlike the modern cars that sit flat on the track under all circumstances (well, most...). Going into the old Stavelot (the old 14km Spa) still is exciting after 1000s of laps there... or the Loop at Watkins Glen....

Re: Beat Tilke at his own game

First one says that Saaletalring looks like that Apricot Hill, now suddenly Orlatalring does, although both tracks are totally different?! PS: Ok, I just looked for a video of that track, and the only similarity I see is the part between T5 and 6 of Orlatalring, that does indeed look a bit like one ...

Re: Beat Tilke at his own game

Hi Could I have the version of the track with working AI? Little misunderstanding: that track does not have AI as I have never finished it. The track that is completed is this one (absolutely not suited to modern F1): There is a long S/F straight, it goes a bit uphill after the pit exit with a crest...

Re: Beat Tilke at his own game

thanks That looks like a carbon copy of Apricot Hill in Gran Turismo No idea, honestly, I never owned a console. Care to provide a download link? The track is not completely finished - it lacks AI and the scenery around it is not complete (the interest in road racing with N03 died before I was able ...

Re: Beat Tilke at his own game

Hi (first post here) I actually built several racing circuits... virtual racing circuits at least, e.g. for the Nascar 2003 racing simulation - no ovals but real (TM) circuits for the TransAm and GroupC Mods. Here is one of them - however I might add, that I built this intentionally more like an old...
