I like this concept - pretty much a non-Reject of the Race, one whom you expect to be a bit rejectful, but turns out not to be, right? Or could it possibly allow for Jenson Button to finish outside of the points as well?

Doesn't matter; he has experience. He's not totally unfamiliar with thsort, even if it was twenty years ago. And that gives him an edge. The one problem that aa breakaway series won't suffer from is a lack of willing drivers. On the Autosport website today, both Massa and Webber have come out in support of a breakaway series. But there again, they both drive for teams that were given entries with their conditions ignored... ;)

I was a French major and agree that good grammar and spelling make posts much easier to read but also agree with civility over the issue and so long as the posts are coherent then occasional lapses are OK. ;)

RML (Ray Mallock Ltd of touring car fame) have confirmed that they did not submit an entry for the 2010 championship :

I assumed that he had no further involvement, only what if? I was only speculating if Max were in the position Tony George of the IRL has been in for several years of having his own team and race series (and race track). Not in a good position currently though....

Just read a Formula 2 preview today and it read that all previous F2 champs (1967-1984) became F1 drivers. Brian Henton was mentioned as an F2 champ. He was forgettable. Doesn't have a profile on F1 Rejects. Does he deserve one?
