Re: Forza Jules

Does anyone know of any good charities to donate to regarding head injuries? (sporting or non-sporting)

I was thinking maybe we as a community could set up a just giving page or something and raise a bit of money in his honour.

Re: Forza Jules

He would have gone on to be my favourite driver for sure. Jules fought in hospital as much as he did on the track. What a waste. What a stupid way to go. F1 hasn't been the same for me since.

Dunno if you guys have heard of the French footballer Jean-Pierre Adams, but Jules & Michael's situation does remind me of him (sadly) He's been in a coma for 32 years.

Re: The most anonymous F1 stints

I liked Ralf, he was a decent enough driver. But at Jordan he was the next big thing and whilst I know he won races at Williams, I don't remember any of them or his other performances. The only 2 drives I can recall are the two at Indy where he certainly made a big impact. I have no idea when he joi...

I've read some of the above posts about Schumacher and I was wondering, If Senna had lived and Schumacher had crashed into him at Adelaide to win the title, would Schumacher be loved or hated?

Personally, I'd have loved him for it.

F1. I watched the race alongside the 2nd stage of the tour de France. A bunch of cyclists riding at 45 Kph was more interesting. Is it me? Wheres the drama nowadays? I've enjoyed the series so far, but the London race is just one big omnishambles. It'd be too narrow for a cycling race let alone a motor race.
